SOFTWARE VERSION: 10.2010.19-1 EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 1. Open RSS reader 2. Have a readable feed entered (for example http://feeds.feedburner.com/NokiaConversations-Posts) 3. Click refresh feed EXPECTED OUTCOME: Refresh feed, or do nothing if it fails. ACTUAL OUTCOME: Fails to refresh feed, and also deletes the previous contents of the feed. REPRODUCIBILITY: Depends of feed content. It might be due to parsing errors or malformed feed content. EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: OTHER COMMENTS: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010040121 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.19
Created an attachment (id=2968) [details] Example of feed content that causes the reader to invalidate the feed. Obviously, the best solution would be if a borked characted or element wouldn't break the WHOLE feed (the loss of previous content is in fact just the side-effect of this).
Confirming.
