maemo.org Bugzilla – Bug 9902
Autocleaner purged _all_ versions of sflphone-client-gnome from extras-devel
Last modified: 2010-11-29 21:40:09 UTC
You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
According to url (and apt-get), there are currently no versions of sflphone-client-gnome in extras-devel, though changelog clearly says that there were several uploads and cleanups. 03-20: 8:39 - maemo5 imported 9:26 - maemo6 built 9:27 - maemo6 autocleaned (wtf?) 03-27: 8:37 - maemo7 fails to build 8:38 - maemo7 autocleaned (uh? it didn't get into repo) 9:14 - maemo8 built 9:16 - maemo8 autocleaned (wtf?) 9:40 - maemo8 built for i386 9:40 - maemo8 autocleaned (wtf?) 04-07: 15:23-15:29: maemo1-maemo5 autocleaned Outcome: no versions in repo at all Expected: maemo8 is in repo.
I fixed the bug in the cleaner yesterday. It should be safe to upload a new version, or do you want me to restore the old version?

So... I tried to reupload and failed. https://garage.maemo.org/pipermail/extras-cauldron-builds/2010-April/020065.html
Same thing happened with openvpn-applet yesterday. I uploaded two versions (0.5.4-1 and 0.5.4-2) and both times _all_ versions were autocleaned from extras-devel. Logs from http://maemo.org/packages/view/openvpn-applet/ Promotion button to extras-testing is available in package instance page, but promotion doesn't happen.
Still happens: http://maemo.org/packages/view/sflphone-client-gnome/

The following packages have unmet dependencies: sflphone-client-gnome: Depends: sflphone-common (= 0.9.7~ppa1~jaunty-maemo8) but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages /home/user # Is there any workaround to get sflphone running n my N900? Maybe an older version? Thanks for all your affords Ulle Ulle

Why http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-devel_free_armel/sflphone-common/0.9.7~ppa1~jaunty/ has _CAPITAL_ Ppa1? And why changelog is screwed up on this page?
Marat: Maybe fix this issue first?: http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-devel_free_i386/sflphone-client-gnome/0.9.7~ppa1~jaunty-maemo10/ states "This package has missing dependencies: sflphone-common (= 0.9.7~ppa1~jaunty-maemo10)"

Congrats, half a year passed and bug is still open.
Marat: Congrats, I just received bugmail because of a useless comment made out of frustration.
It's not funny - this is an absurd situation. Too much time for such issue not being resolved. I can't wait forever so I build the packages myself and post if to the web for all other users who can't use this package because of the problems in the maemo repository. Version maemo10 can be downloaded from here: http://www.tonev.net/maemo-5-software-for-nokia-n900/sflphone-for-nokia-n900-iax2-sip-for-maemo-5/
