Version as of 7-4-10

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
1. Load widget

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Expect to see summary of latest text / IM message as per screenshot

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
See summary of number of IM / SMS messages and nil else

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always

OTHER COMMENTS:
Since the update, the application has become less useful in my opinion.  Please
restore the original view as this was more practical.  Thanks.

What is the software version you use (Settings->About product->Version)?

The widget should show unread messages as per screenshot as long as they are
new and unread.
Could you confirm that you have a new message with the led indicator active and
there is a system yellow notification for it and the widget still shows
nothing?

I'm experiencing possibly the same thing.  It seems as if Conversations has no
concept of existing conversations anymore as even when the app is opened, it
always shows "no conversations" even when I have an ongoing XMPP conversation
open at the same time.  I do not know if the initial reporter experienced this
second problem as well or if he only had the problem with the widget (in which
case I can file separately).

I've not tried with other protocols.  I had flashed my device with the most
recent image since the OTA update left the system un-bootable.

Sorry, it looks like bug 10418 might be closer to the problem I'm reporting.

Conversation doesn't show new sms messages or new IM messages. 
Maemo version: 20.2010.36-2
