Description Emanuele Cassioli (reporter) 2010-04-05 14:26:17 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION: 0.3.8-1

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
1. Go to Settings, check the quantity box
2. Add a new item to a list
3. Edit the quantity of that item

EXPECTED OUTCOME: It's possible to enter only numbers in that field, so if I
press qw it writes 12

ACTUAL OUTCOME: It writes qw, so I have to press the secondary function button
in order to enter numbers.

REPRODUCIBILITY: always
Comment 1 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2010-04-07 18:10:58 UTC
Should be easily doable by using HILDON_GTK_INPUT_MODE_NUMERIC, see
http://maemo.org/api_refs/5.0/5.0-final/gtk/GtkIMContext.html

Playing with a spinner, is now in git ,should appear in next version

Closing as this should fix it. If it doesn't prove satisfactory, then I guess
we'll need to re-open this.
Comment 4 Emanuele Cassioli (reporter) 2010-04-21 13:14:00 UTC
Bug still present in Multilist 0.3.10-2, actually in Extras-Testing. Leaving as
UNCONFIRMED.

Version 0.3.11-2 still allows entering characters in quantity field. If patch
don't work at least a patch should be applied that pressing the secondary
function button switches to secondary function even when button gets released.
Actually you have to press both buttons at same time.
