(Settings > General > About product)
EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
1. With closed hardware keyboard, activate Conversations (PL:Rozmowy) and tap
new SMS (PL:Nowa wiad. SMS)
2. Tap on the text area - the virtual keyboard appears
3. Select special symbols (3'rd button below input field) - among these symbols
appear lowercase polish symbols ( ąćęłńóśżź )
After tapping the special symbols again capital polish letters should appear
EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
No extra keyboard applications installed.

Hi, I tried this in a newer internal version that will become the public PR1.2
Settings > Text input > Use virtual keyboard == enabled
1st language == Polski (Polska)
2nd language == English (United Kingdom)
Don't have hardware keyboard shown
Click New SMS
Click in the text field
Virtual Keyboard appears and provides ż, ł plus ˛ and ́ (composite
Same after clicking ↑ : I get Ż, Ł plus ˛ and ́ .
Hence all Polish characters can be entered even without using the special
symbols by using composite characters.
Setting explicit PR1.2 milestone (so it's clearer in which public release the
fix will be available to users).
Sorry for the bugmail noise (you can filter on this message).
