SOFTWARE VERSION: EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 1. install & use shortcutd 2. "press" proximity sensor 3. EXPECTED OUTCOME: act as as setting and obey general phone settings ACTUAL OUTCOME:haptic feedback on proximity sensor active even when generally disabled this REPRODUCIBILITY:always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: OTHER COMMENTS:haptic feedback must be active only when general settings permit this User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
initial setting of vibration feedback must be as touch settings vibration setting and follow the change of it
(In reply to comment #0) > OTHER COMMENTS:haptic feedback must be active only when general settings permit > this (In reply to comment #1) > initial setting of vibration feedback must be as touch settings vibration > setting > and follow the change of it If you mean the "vibrate" setting from "profiles", then it might be possible (to add an option) to follow this. But if you mean "touch screen vibration" from "display" settings, it is a WONTFIX. It must be possible to control the sensor vibration feedback separately from the screen and there is already an option for that. I'm changing the summary accordingly.
proposal for next version : initial settings like this proximity sensor feedback := touchscreen vibrate no code change elsewhere than initial settings so proximity sensor feedback can be changed independently
