EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
1. Press-and-hold left or right cursor key

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Scanning starts

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Manual adjustment of the frequency

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
a lot, relevant here?

OTHER COMMENTS:
An in my opinion intuitive use of the cursor keys would be:
- left / right single press: jump between presets
- left / right press-and-hold: scanning
- shift - left / right: manual frequency adjustment
The first two would behave consistent with the on-screen buttons.
