No mention of osso_initialize() in porting guide

"All maemo applications need to be initialized correctly or they will not work as expected. One symptom of missing initialization is that application starts from Task Navigator but closes automatically after few seconds." However, there's no information in the porting guide on the initialisation required, and no reference to osso_initialize() (and the associated -losso lines). There should be changes at the following points: http://maemo.org/platform/docs/howtos/howto_porting_an_existing_application.html#src-Makefile-am http://maemo.org/platform/docs/howtos/howto_porting_an_existing_application.html#src-main-c ...mentioning "-losso", "#include <libosso.h>" and "osso_initialize(...)"
and of course osso_deinitialize(...) :)

This was reported in 2.X side. The 3.X side porting guide seems to address these issues properly ie libosso.h, osso_initialize() etc.. Please open a separate bug if issues are found from the bora version of the porting guide. Reassigning this back to JP.
Fixed in the 2.2 porting guide.
Closing FIXED bugs. if error/problem still occurs, please reopen bug with comments.
