The first bullet under that topic says:

"Obtain the template source code sharing-plugin-template-0.1.tar.gz from <URL
HERE>."

The actual URL for that would be nice as it's used as a first running example.

And I already once verified this, but I guess it was lost in the hw upgrade.
Verifying again.
