SOFTWARE VERSION: 1.2009.42-11 EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 1. install fm-radio application 2. listen to a station 3. wait for system to dim display or use hw button to force it EXPECTED OUTCOME: audio playback continues normally ACTUAL OUTCOME: there is a short but noticeable break right after display goes black REPRODUCIBILITY: always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: OTHER COMMENTS: As noted in Bug 6249 comment 4 repeated sleep/wakeup just kills playback. Opening as a pulseaudio-specific bug as suggested in comment 5. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; it; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091109 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.5
Just wanted to mention that adding a larger buffer for radio playback (as recommended by a Nokian) doesn't help with this. pulsesrc | pulsesink device=sink.music buffer-time=200000
Does this happen with w51/PR1.1(.1)? This may have been the cgroups 3rd party SW policy thing (in addition to quite a lot of things happening when screen is blanked and especially unblanked).
(In reply to comment #2) > Does this happen with w51/PR1.1(.1)? Yes, it still happens on 3.2010.02-8
