Heja, (as mentioned in bug 6524 that unfortunately covered several issues:) This has been fixed in package nokia-maps-ui 0.2.0-1 which will be available in a future update.
This is only partially fixed in 2.2009.51-1 with nokia-maps-up 0.2.-6+0m5. Drag scrolling works, but is not kinetic, so stands out in a negative way compared to most of the rest of the system. Additionally, the thin scroll bar, eliminated from the rest of the Maemo 5 system, is still present. While I can see how someone might argue this bug is technically fixed now that drag scrolling works, I feel the Maps application's route settings screen still falls well short of meeting the Maemo 5 finger-friendly UI guidelines and the standards demonstrated in most of the rest of the OS. Therefore, I'm not verifying this fix.
The problem reported here should be fixed in the update released today for public: The Maemo5 update version 2.2009.51-1 (also called "PR1.1" sometimes). Please leave a comment if the problem is not fixed for you in this update version.
Reopen as per comment 2 "This is only partially fixed in 2.2009.51-1 with nokia-maps-up 0.2.-6+0m5. Drag scrolling works, but is not kinetic, so stands out in a negative way compared to most of the rest of the system."
The Route Settings will fit on the screen in PR1.2 - No scrolling involved anymore, so I am going to close this as WORKSFORME.
