Cannot enter ~ and other symbols in links

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. Open Web Browser
2. tap address bar - virtual keyboard appears
3. trying to type www.domain.com/~name
www.domain.com/~name appears in the address bar
Everything is ok until I try to type the ~ character. In the virtual keyboard
after I tap the ~ character it remains highlighted, is not entered in the
address. The same happens for other symbols like ^ and `.
(always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10)

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5
(KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/184.108.40.206 Safari/532.5
