Description Thomas Perl (reporter) 2009-11-11 13:53:45 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION:

5.0 (1.2009.41-10)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

* Use the "Notes" application with the "Formatted text" file format option
* Close it and open it as often as necessary so that its screenshot is saved
and on start, the screenshot comes up as loading screen (i.e. the effect of
hildon_gtk_window_take_screenshot)
* Now, go to the settings dialog of the "Notes" application and choose "Plain
text" as file format
* Save, close, and re-start Notes

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

* The "loading" screenshot does not contain the toolbar that is only visible in
"Formatted text" mode (assuming the last file I had opened is a plaintext file,
and I'm opening it again on next start)

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

* The "loading" screenshot contains the toolbar, and when the application has
finished loading, the toolbar disappears (again, because of the plaintext file
mode) - this looks strange

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always (I've seen this effect for at least a week after disabling the
"Formatted text" option now)

OTHER COMMENTS:

A simple call to hildon_gtk_window_take_screenshot() with the second parameter
set to FALSE (to delete the screenshot) whenever the file format changes should
do the trick, I guess.
