Description Marius Gedminas (reporter) 2009-11-09 11:05:16 UTC
I've got three xterm windows open:

* tapping the title bar on the first one gives me the normal menu with two
items (New, Font)

* tapping the title bar on the second or third one gives me a blank menu bar
(screenshot in the URL field). Apparently the menu items still exist -- I can
tap and get a new xterm or the font selection dialog.

At one point tapping the title bar of the second xterm gave me a blank menu
that was 2x the height.

Cannot reproduce here (but I already have a "Paste" button available, maybe
that makes a difference), but confirmed internally.
How do you switch between the windows? Upper left corner or Control+Backspace?

Note to myself: Looks related to int-105529, int-124258.

Upper-left corner.

I cannot reproduce either after rebooting.

One interesting thing I've also noticed at that time: first time tapping on the
title bar something like a wide but short menu (?) bar appears and disappears,
and then nothing happens. Second tap opens the blank (or non-blank) menu bar.
This appeared to only happen the first time I switched to a particular xterm
window. Maybe it helps to clarify the issue (or maybe it muddies the waters
even more), I dunno. I cannot reproduce this first-tap-not-really-working
thing either any more.

As reported in bug 8554 this occurred as well in 5.0/(1.2009-51-1)

After rebooting app menu bar is working fine.
