SOFTWARE VERSION: 1.2009.41-10 STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1. Plug WH-205 headset into N900. 2. Receive incoming call. 3. Try pressing any of the headset's buttons to accept the call. EXPECTED OUTCOME: Call answered. ACTUAL OUTCOME: Nothing, the call keeps ringing until answered/rejected via the touchscreen or the caller hangs up. REPRODUCIBILITY: Always. OTHER COMMENTS: Bug 1553 is somewhat related, but not a duplicate. See bug 1553 comment 17 in particular about the WH-205 being shown as a headphone instead of a headset. The same steps with an N810 and the same headset work as expected.
This is basically a feature gap. Vote for it.
(In reply to comment #1) > This is basically a feature gap. Vote for it. It's actually a bug affecting VoIP (but not cellular) calls. We are saving power when we shouldn't be.
*** Bug 7725 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
(Updating severity & priority as this is considered a bug.)

This has been fixed in the internal build version 10.2010.08-5 (Note: 2009/2010 is the year, and the number after is the week.) The next public update will include the fix. To answer popular followup questions: * Nokia does not announce release dates of public updates in advance. * There is currently no access to these internal, non-public build versions. A Brainstorm proposal to change this exists at http://maemo.org/community/brainstorm/view/undelayed_bugfix_releases_for_nokia_open_source_packages-002/
