SOFTWARE VERSION: 1.2009.41-10 STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1. Add a repository to /etc/apt/sources.list, manually; 2. Load up Application manager and look at its list of Application Catalogues; and 3. Tap on your new repository entry, the manually added one, and notice it displaying an unlocalised string. EXPECTED OUTCOME: A localised message in the HildonBanner saying "Unable to edit" (or words to that effect). ACTUAL OUTCOME: I see the gettext ID in the summary, instead. REPRODUCIBILITY: Always. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; en-GB; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090928 Firefox/3.5 Maemo Browser 1.4.1.15 RX-51 N900
Created an attachment (id=1451) [details] Screenshot to demonstrate behaviour. I forgot to add in my report: I'm using the en_GB locale.
UI should now show "Unable to edit catalogue" in the next public release (PR1.2). Internal latest version of hildon-application-manager-l10n-public_6.0+r7611+0m5.tar.gz also includes: msgid "ai_ib_unable_edit" msgstr "Unable to edit catalogue"
Setting explicit PR1.2 milestone (so it's clearer in which public release the fix will be available to users). Sorry for the bugmail noise (you can filter on this message).
