STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1. load https://stage.maemo.org EXPECTED OUTCOME: browser establishes a connection to a secure server whose issuer was recently verified (within reasonable verification practices for CAs) ACTUAL OUTCOME: Secure Connection Failed stage.maemo.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 9/24/09 2:59 AM. (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate) * This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server. * If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later. Or you can add an exception… You should not add an exception if you are using an internet connection that you do not trust completely or if you are not used to seeing a warning for this server. REPRODUCIBILITY: always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: Camino Version 2.0b4 (1.9.0.15pre 2009091516) OS X 10.5.8 OTHER COMMENTS: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9.0.15pre) Gecko/2009091516 Camino/2.0b4 (like Firefox/3.0.15pre)
Tero, could you renew the certificates (or get rid of https on stage)?
(In reply to comment #1) > (or get rid of https on stage) There are lots of links on other sites and mailing list posts pointing to pages within https://stage.maemo.org/ so it would be preferable not to break those links by dropping https.
The SSL certificate had been installed. Bug fixed.
