Hi Zaheer, I know that some of the N900 prototypes handed out have this issue,
but most of them do not. Actually no idea why this happens, but it works for
me.
Please reopen if this happens after installing an SSU update (int-138056,
int-114182).

Does /usr/bin/osso-product-info report something similar to the following?

OSSO_PRODUCT_HARDWARE='RX-51'
OSSO_PRODUCT_NAME='N900'
OSSO_PRODUCT_FULL_NAME='Nokia N900'
OSSO_PRODUCT_RELEASE_NAME='Maemo 5'
OSSO_PRODUCT_RELEASE_FULL_NAME='Maemo 5'
OSSO_PRODUCT_RELEASE_VERSION='1.2009.41-10'
OSSO_PRODUCT_WLAN_CHANNEL='fcc/us'
OSSO_PRODUCT_KEYBOARD='English, Dutch'
OSSO_PRODUCT_REGION='Netherlands'
OSSO_PRODUCT_SHORT_NAME='Nokia N900'
OSSO_VERSION='RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-10_PR_TRUE'

If not, are packages libossoproductinfo0, libscconf0 and osso-product-info
installed?

Yes, that command works fine. No nulls in site :)
