SOFTWARE VERSION: 1.2009.37-7 STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: Open Application Manager, open list of installable applications, install one. EXPECTED OUTCOME: Application is installed and the current list position returns to where it was. ACTUAL OUTCOME: Application is installed and the list is reset (i.e. you're moved back to the start). REPRODUCIBILITY: always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: OTHER COMMENTS: This is just a bit annoying, if you're looking through the list and installing multiple items, it becomes a bit of a drag (literally) to have to scroll down each and every time. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Confirmed
Confirming, but I consider this a (nice) enhancement request - no mentioning of this in the Specs, application just goes back to default package list view as if you'd start it for the first time.
It worked properly in Diablo, so this is a regression that was introduced with the update of the UI. Actually Richard agrees that this is a bug, so you can file it internally. :)
Fixed in internal week 42 build. Any public update released with or after this build version (x.2009.42-x) will include the fix. Please verify that the new version fixes the bug by marking this bug report as VERIFIED after the public update has been released and if you have some time.
*** Bug 1148 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
(In reply to comment #4) > Any public update released with or after this build version (x.2009.42-x) will > include the fix. Reopen please? Broken in 1.2009.42-11 retail release.
(In reply to comment #6) > (In reply to comment #4) > Reopen please? > Broken in 1.2009.42-11 retail release. Sorry for my misleading comment. Target Milestone is still 5.0+ and not 1.2009.42-11 because this fix is not yet included in the 1.2009.42-11 version. Hence everything is correct.
Confirming as FIXED in 2.2009.51-1. Thank you!
The problem reported here should be fixed in the update released today for public: The Maemo5 update version 2.2009.51-1 (also called "PR1.1" sometimes). Please leave a comment if the problem is not fixed for you in this update version.
