"ñ" (n with tilde) character slightly cut off in default font

SOFTWARE VERSION: 5.2008.43-7 (Control Panel > General > About product) STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1) Open Control Panel 2) Open Region and Language 3) Click on the Language dropdown box and look for any Español language EXPECTED OUTCOME: ñ character should be properly drawn on the screen. ACTUAL OUTCOME: Left most 2 or 3 pixels of the "ñ" character are visibly missing, probably a font error. REPRODUCIBILITY: Always (always/sometimes/once) EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: N/A OTHER COMMENTS: Screenshot forthcoming. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090804 Shiretoko/3.5.2

Confirming. Still in Fremantle.
It is a known issue with Freetype autohinter. This will not be fixed.
I'm afraid this is wontfix for Maemo5. Same freetype and same font used.
Jakub, do you think this could be addressed for Harmattan? If so I'd leave it opened here (as maemo.org Bugzilla does not have a "Program" category). Internal ticket is still open, by the way...

Internal ticket is still open, by the way... There will be fresher versions of both Freetype and Fontconfig. Though no idea what font we will use for the user interface when Maemo6 ships ;)
