Description Alexei V. Vasiliev (reporter) 2005-04-29 15:59:49 UTC
There is a minor issue when running maemopad:

If one follows HOWTO literally and starts maemopad from menu, it starts normally
and without any visible errors.

However, when starting maemopad manuallym it throws an exception (can't
initialize libosso).

Maybe a HOWTO deserves a warning like 'Do NOT start manually' - or something has
to be fixed to allow for manual launch
Comment 1 Kaj Grönholm 2005-05-07 15:08:18 UTC
This seems to be duplicate of #15 (at least it will be fixed at the same time
now)

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 15 ***

it sounds a duplicate to me as well. so closing..
Comment 3 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2008-10-30 19:01:01 UTC
Moving Documentation component from maemo.org to Development Platform since the
bugs there refer to official developer documentation and this falls out of the
responsibility of the community.

[Rearrangement of Documentation bug reports.]
Mass-moving old closed Developer Platform > Documentation tickets.
