SOFTWARE VERSION: Fremantle beta2, modest 269572150f690858f71dc3a626a84c9a5fec98bb STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1. Start modest. 2. Compose a long new message or reply. EXPECTED OUTCOME: Some immediately accessible way to send the message. ACTUAL OUTCOME: Have to scroll all the way back to the top of the compose window to access the send button. After just 8 message lines the send button has scrolled of the screen and after a few dozen it becomes really slow and annoying to reach the button again. REPRODUCIBILITY: Always. EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: OTHER COMMENTS: A "Send" option in the compose window's menu will do.

We should also note that the CTRL-Enter shortcut will trigger the Send action.

I found it by trying... I remember having used that combination and I tried. The link Andre posted is quite comprehensive.
Ctrl - Enter This is the supported way to solve the problem reported. There is no simple solution at the UI level and at this point we don't want to make changes.
Ctrl-Enter is perfectly fine on the N900, though it's probably worth documenting the shortcut in the final user guides. It might be a problem if there are any keyboardless Fremantle devices in the pipeline (or for Mer on N800 etc, but that can be worked out downstream). For now I'll trust that you know what you are doing and verify :-)
