On the old site, when you clicked a heart or a thumb and submitted your rating,
the heart or the thumb would become saturated to show you that you had a
submitted a rating. The new thumbs don't seems to highlight or saturate after
you've rated an article.

It would be nice to get the "Ajax throbber" back too (i.e., so users know
something is happening when the request is being processed).
