maemo.org Bugzilla – Bug 3553
Weekly Summary report

Implement a Weekly Summary report, as discussed and asked for quite a few times. The report should be broken down by Classification / Product, and give a visible overview of open as well as recently opened and closed bugs. It probably makes sense to not only support sliding (as in "the last X days") reports, but also fixed time intervals, like a week (from Mon to Mon). Non-Maemo software (Product website) should either be dropped from that report, or at least be optional. Cc'ing Stephen Gadsby. Priority Medium, since I'd like to get this done in time for the summit.
Sprint 5.
Just tell me where can I help here. CCing myself.
The most important question is, which reports might be good, actually wanted, and might be used to "convince" others. ;) In the style of the Bug Jars and the (currently manually done) weekly reports. Long time trends, statistics and graphs might be a topic for later, too.
Karsten didn't commit to complete this on the October sprint. Changing priority to Medium.
This bug can be resolved. I'll put worksforme. The Bug Jars are being issued and are in pretty good shape. Specific proposals can be filed as separate enhancement requests and assigned to Stephen. Andre has started with the Feature Jars, same thing.
In the long run I want to have this within Bugzilla just like http://bugzilla.gnome.org/reports/weekly-bug-summary.cgi . This is non-trivial to port though, and I don't want to see work duplicated - There are existing plans to port this from Gnome Bugzilla to upstream Bugzilla sponsored by a company (much more reliable than an individual spending his spare time ;-).
