STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: Play video, try to validate any OpenGL code

EXPECTED OUTCOME:failure

ACTUAL OUTCOME: failure

REPRODUCIBILITY: always
(always/sometimes/once)

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: too many to list

OTHER COMMENTS: This should be in-place, othe Nokia Symbian platforms fully
support the same chipset, so the Maemo implementation should have it as well.

Please don't reset fields that have been unset for a reason. You don't know
what Alias is for, so don't set it.

Thus far, the issue has been stonewalled to the entire community's chagrin.
More complaining is the only way to solve an issue like this, as sad and
childish as that may sound. Making a wake is going to be the only way to bring
more attention to this disregard for the community demands and I intent do keep
this bug open, even if it is a duplicate. We all have a say, that's how
bugtrackers work. It is an ogilarchy, not a dictatorship.
