1 - Get an SU-8W bluetooth keyboard
2 - Select Portuguese input
3 - Type ~ and a

This will not be fixed for Diablo, but hopefully for Fremantle.

This will not be fixed for Fremantle by Nokia.

Danilo, it _might_ make sense to submit that patch to *official* X (in usual
open-source way), i.e. without Nokia involved.
