Description fremwi (reporter) 2008-06-28 00:36:52 UTC
After using the n800 some months, I now use only the N82. It quite hassling to
use to many devices, the synchronisation of datas is not always so easy and
transparent and it's become quite complicated with charger, cable etc.

But I regret a lot:
1) the free software community
2) the wonderful large screen of n800
3) the flexibility and power of Linux.

The #1 wish: integration of a GSM/HUDPA modem in the next tablet (the wimax
won't appear quickly in Europe).

The #2 wish: For both N800 and N82, it would be a nice idea to integrate in the
design of the device a handset (with a boom micro to be really useful in all
situations, or with another technology - osteophony...):
1) I almost always need to use an application during a call (take some note,
record the conversation, note a meeting and son on.
2) It would be a nice way to minimize the radiation.
3) it would resolve the problem of storage of handset when not in use.

the #3 wish: integrate the possibility to use a car and a desktop holder with
integrated charger (a clip to install and charge the device) and with a solid
but minimalist design (the car holders are quite "invasive").

Thanks for the report, but please file seperate bug reports for every issue so
this can be handled.
Most of what you have written will lead to close this report as invalid,
because Maemo does not have much influence on the hardware that Nokia ships,
though.

Closing as INVALID. This is really something that you should contact Nokia for,
but this is not in the Maemo scope. We don't have influence on Nokia's hardware
here, sorry.
