STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
At a terminal:
svn checkout https://svn.garage.maemo.org/svn/pyshop
cd pyshop/
touch testfile
svn add testfile
svn commit -m "This should work."

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Sending        testfile
Transmitting file data .
Committed revision #.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Adding         testfile
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/pyshop/testfile'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/pyshop/testfile': 302 Found
(https://svn.garage.maemo.org)

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
subversion

OTHER COMMENTS:
Many users report that their SVN access works fine, and I am able to add files
to the SVN repository of my other garage project (adv-backlight), just not to
the PyShop SVN.

Please try it with https://garage.maemo.org/svn/pyrecipe instead of
https://svn.garage.maemo...

Yes, it works if I use https://garage.maemo.org/svn/pyshop/ instead. I'm happy,
but I'm not sure if the bug should be closed or not? Something bad is obviously
happening...

Yes, it seems in a first look that https://svn.garage.maemo.org/svn/project and
https://garage.maemo.org/svn/project is the same page.

But in the documentation is explained to use the last one. For example in
https://garage.maemo.org/scm/?group_id=711


Oh, in the last reply I confused pyshop with pyrecipe (one of my projects).
They are similar ;)

Ok. I have found the problem.

In the pyshop project (very young project) it's explained to use
https://svn.garage.maemo.org/svn/pyshop 
And it doesn't work. See https://garage.maemo.org/scm/?group_id=711

While in for example maemo-wordpy (more than one year open) is explained to use
https://garage.maemo.org/svn/maemo-wordpy

If you go to the SCM plugin, it specifically gives you the commands to use (you
linked it before, but for reference,
https://garage.maemo.org/scm/?group_id=711):

"""
Developer Subversion Access via DAV

Only project developers can access the SVN tree via this method. Substitute
developername with the proper values. Enter your site password when prompted.

svn checkout --username developername https://svn.garage.maemo.org/svn/pyshop
"""

If that doesn't work, it should be changed.

Changed summary, reopened.
The SCM plugin's information page should be changed to read
https://garage.maemo.org/svn/project instead of the current
https://svn.garage.maemo.org/svn/project
This bug seems to only affect projects created recently (the past few months).
