Description Ryan Abel (reporter) maemo.org 2008-05-22 05:59:35 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION:
3.2008.20-4

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

1. Go to the browser settings and change "Enabled pop-up windows:" to "Only
requested"
2. Go to a site with Flash or find a Flash applet.
3. Tap-n-hold on a Flash applet to bring up the Flash contextual menu.
4. Select the "About Adobe Flash Player 9..." item.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
The requested pop-up will open in a new window based on the user's settings.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
The requested pop-up is blocked with the banner "Pop-up window blocked".

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always

OTHER COMMENTS:
The About Flash option doesn't seem to be recognized as a requested pop-up
window, it works with the "Enabled pop-up windows" setting set to "Always,
though.

Comment 1 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2008-06-02 13:00:09 UTC
maybe adobebug, maybe MicroB bug... hmm.
Comment 2 timeless 2008-08-20 18:20:02 UTC
this should be a flash bug, npapi exposes an api for plugins to tell browsers
that a request isn't unrequested, see:

Comment 3 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2008-10-08 14:49:48 UTC
(Removing deprecated "Future" Target Milestone.)
Comment 4 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2009-06-23 01:28:56 UTC
Still valid in current Fremantle.
Comment 5 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2009-09-07 12:18:45 UTC
(Split Plug-Ins into "Flash" and "Others", hence correcting QA Contact.
Sorry for the noise.)
Comment 6 Andre Klapper maemo.org 2009-10-05 17:49:59 UTC
This should be fixed in 3.0.0.67 but has not been verified internally.
