STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

1. Install W16
2. Check for email with imap.gmail.com

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Email is checked and received.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Modest throw an error, "Unable to connect to imap.gmail.com. Server name or
port number may be incorrect."

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US)

This bug in 16 appears to be more general, as it also occurs for me with
pop.gmail.com and promail.ptd.net, a server at a local ISP. In both cases, I
use SSL POP3, and previous releases of Modest have worked.

I can confirm this bug. This makes the whole client unusable for me.

Modest also doesn't check the pop.gmail.com

Well, as there seem to be people still experiencing the issue I'm reopening
them bug.

It must be something specific to their user settings or perhaps something went
wrong during the upgrade. It works 100% under both my primary upgraded install
and under a newly flashed and installed version.

There are 2 versions of 17-1 only the most recent one works.
