OTHER COMMENTS: To quote Johan Bilien: "There is no API for setting the
background from an external process, feel free to fill a feature request in
bugzilla."  Thus I am requesting a command line interface (dbus-send?) method
of setting the user's background image (wallpaper).

I'd say this enhancement would lead to a number of creative uses, making people
more delighted with their tablets, simple ("useless," "nonproductive") though
the feature may be.

This is now roadmapped for Harmattan.
