In building Modest for Ubuntu Mobile, I have discovered that libhildon includes the untranslated string "ecdg_ti_caption_separator" in Modest's setting dialogs. The string is included in libhildon's po file, so either libhildon isn't passing back the correct string, or Modest needs to be taught to look up libhildon translations too.
is Modest using the string itself, or is it a widget from libhildon? Could you show a code snipset?
I think we simply didn't ship the translations (*.mo files) for libhildon/hildon-1 in the package.
Steve, Loic: So is this in Modest's scope at all or is this INVALID? If it's Modest's area, can you answer Luc's question please? > I think we simply didn't ship the translations (*.mo files) for > libhildon/hildon-1 in the package. "We" means Ubuntu Mobile here?
No feedback here. Assuming it's invalid as per comment 2.
