STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
1. Go directly to the url:
http://downloads.maemo.org/product/OS2008/screen-grabber
2. click login (e.g. to edit the page for a new release)


EXPECTED OUTCOME:

The url should change to https:// and the "toolbar/menu/whatever" should appear
on the top of the page with the edit option.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

The url changes to https:// but no toolbar. You need to go through the main
downloads page to get proper login and then follow the links to the package
page (and even that doesn't seem to work always).


REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

OTHER COMMENTS:

The downloads.maemo.org has been *very* slow for a week (at least) now, so
reproducing a bug like this or adding new releases to d.m.o is too painful.

Can this be related to the fact of using downloads.maemo.org/* instead of
maemo.org/downloads/*?

It actually seems so. The m.o/download works as expected, but d.m.o does all
kinds of odd things. Apps missing from the list, login fails, etc.

Maybe the d.m.o should be redirected to m.o/download or disabled? Currently
it's very confusing.

I don't even know. I though I clicked several times the link bar at the top of
the maemo.org page while testing, but at least now it links to the correct
place.

Maybe I just remembered the address wrong in the first place and then I've just
used the browser history..

I'm digging into the d.m.o vs m.o/d thing and I will file a bug to make sure we
have the redirect to maemo.org/downloads if this is the conclusion.

About finding the wrong url, try searching "maemo applications downloads" in
google.

At least for me the first two has the wrong url.
