Description Gabriel Schulhof (reporter) nokia 2007-11-12 14:58:20 UTC
EXPECTED OUTCOME:
When entering your password with the finger virtual keyboard into the form
generated by the URL and submitting the form, the result is the string "?a="
followed immediately by the password you entered.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
The browser ends up submitting a series of '*' characters, rather than your
password, so the result of submitting the form is the string "?a=" followed by
the '*' characters.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
1. Paste the URL into your browser and hit Enter
2. On the resulting page, type a string into the text box and hit Enter.
3. Observe the contents of the page that follows.

REPRODUCIBLE:
Using the FKB (finger keyboard) and with any application (including, e.g.,
mail)

This problem doesn't happen w/ the VKB (virtual half screen keyboard), the
n810's hardware keyboard, or bluetooth keyboard.
