Description benjamin.reveille (reporter) 2007-09-13 18:24:22 UTC
Right now it is hard to enter the code to unlock the device using only ones
fingers (I have to use the stylus). The unlock numpad is just too small. There
is so much screen place available that it could easily be made twice as big
which would be great.

The positioning of the ok & cancel keys also need to be examined.

Finally the enter key on the N810 should be accepted as a click on ok.

Can anyone tell me which package this belongs to, where to get the code and
which program runs the screen lock.
Has there been any progress in getting this fixed. I find this a major
irritation and would like to look at it myself to see how easy it would be to
fix.

I assume that this will be improved for Fremantle as the entire UI will become
more "thumbable" (at least that is what several people blogged at the Maemo
Summit).

Roope, can you confirm whether this is fixed in Fremantle or Harmattan?

The lock code dialog is redesigned for Fremantle, so yes, they are bigger.
