What about devices -> details? How the phone is specified there? Is this bug reproducible with OS2008 beta? In OS2008 you are also able to "select phone from Bluetooth applet" (i.e. it asks you after phone pairing, if you want to select the phone) - does this work?
Joshua, can you please answer Aapo's questions?
I can't unfortunately...I no longer have the phone. I believe the vendor may have disabled bluetooth DUN on the phone. Not much else to do but close the bug. Thanks for the help, guys.
Thanks for the feedback.
