I can't figure out what a heart is or does

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. load https://maemo.org/news/ and enter username/password
2. click the first heart I see
3. a page appears that shows:
 maemo.org > Community > Favorites

Favorites
title
Actual Results:
I can't figure out what the page is for, whether I've already hearted, or if
this is a way for me to propose a new something.

Expected Results:
directions would be nice. (note: in gmail and friends clicking a dimmed star
simply returns you to the page w/ a note saying a star was added, and the star
is visible)

I agree. The Google workflow to add/take out a star is the model. The jump to
Community/Favorites is totally distracting.

After logging in - I had to login a second time as my state did not seem to
change.

I would add also that logging in on Safari in OSX, it was not just not obvious
that I could vote but I was taken to a second page to confirm. Ajax would make
this much more logical - like Digg and similar sites.

Something like Pligg would work great for this social news site for the N800.
