clicking a heart (fav?) doesn't explain what's happening

Expected Results: directions would be nice. (note: in gmail and friends clicking a dimmed star simply returns you to the page w/ a note saying a star was added, and the star is visible)
I agree. The Google workflow to add/take out a star is the model. The jump to Community/Favorites is totally distracting.
After logging in - I had to login a second time as my state did not seem to change. I would add also that logging in on Safari in OSX, it was not just not obvious that I could vote but I was taken to a second page to confirm. Ajax would make this much more logical - like Digg and similar sites.
Something like Pligg would work great for this social news site for the N800. http://www.pligg.com/demo/
