Description Brenton Bills (reporter) 2007-07-02 07:42:13 UTC
I didnt try the FON router out of the box, I flashed it straight away with
dd-wrt so I cant confirm if the original FON has issues. When I leave the FON
router off for a while and turn it on I am able to connect with the N800 then
after say 2-3mins the N800 just reboots. Then when I turn on the N800 again it
just continues to reboot each time its about to connect.

It does not (my stock La Fonera doesn't have any issues, at least). How do you
know it's a router problem -- have you tried the N800 with other APs?

It works fine with the Access Point at work, its an Buffalo Airstation Pro
WLM2.

We will try to reproduce the problem in our lab. Could you please be give more
details about your AP? For example manufacturer and model would be good to
have. Especially I'm interested about the WLAN chipset and the driver used by
dd-wrt in this device.

Brenton, can you please answer Kalle's questions in comment #3? Thanks in
advance.

Sorry, I gave up on the N800 it was an extremely unreliable device from the
constant reboots even after updating all the s/w many times. So this might be a
h/w issue. Closing this issue.
