This is a simple request for access to all debug package, (as well as source package), preferabilly installable using apt-get. An example of a current problem on maemo 3.1 is the lack of debug package for libgtk2.0-dbg: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libgtk2.0-dbg: Depends: libgtk2.0-0 (= 2:2.6.10-1.osso23) but 2:2.6.10-2.osso30 is to be installed I guess dbg package could be generated after installaing and rebuilding the source libgtk2 package, but having them already available with apt-get would be handy.
I believe our dbg situation is much better now. But in any case, this is not a apt bug.

They are available from the maemo repositories for all the open components (there was an announcement a while ago about the sources for *all* open components being nowadays available as packages instead of in a single tarball) > An example of a current problem on maemo 3.1 is the lack of debug package for > libgtk2.0-dbg: > > The following packages have unmet dependencies: > libgtk2.0-dbg: Depends: libgtk2.0-0 (= 2:2.6.10-1.osso23) but > 2:2.6.10-2.osso30 is to be installed Please upgrade to Maemo 3.2. This is name of an ancient old style debug package, the correct (new style) debug package name is libgtk2.0-0-dbg.
