Description Neil MacLeod (reporter) maemo.org 2007-05-12 22:09:51 UTC
The software download filters "IT OS" and "License" do not seem to be working
correctly.

Examples:

1. A search without keywords and IT OS == IT OS 2007 returns software that
supports OS 2006 and/or OS 2005 but that does *NOT* support OS 2007 (eg.
Granule). I would expect to see only software that supports OS 2007 (and also
lower OS versions) - software that does not support OS 2007 should not be
listed.

2. A search without keywords and License == Free Software returns "Media
Streamer for N800". Searching for License == Non-free Software also returns
"Media Streamer for N800". How can "Media Streamer for N800" be licensed as
both free and non-free software?

Henri, we got a bug in app catalog. You are the only one who could fix it. If
you are not the only one please reassign it to someone who could also deal with
it. Thank you.

Accepting, "eq" filter in o.o.products was working incorrectly. This has been
fixed but requires the component to be updated.

This has been addressed in the new application catalog version that will be
launched soon.

the search box was dropped, so i mark it wontfix. in the new catalog you can
use the 'standard search' input line in the upper right corner. currently there
is no need to have an advanced search page, where filters would be important.
