SOFTWARE VERSION: 
1:2.2.153-2+thumb0

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
1. edit the transitions.ini file with nano with auto-wrap active
2. Extend white list of autorotate apps so that it's wrapped on the next line
and save the file.
3. Reboot.

OUTCOME: 
hildon-desktop won't start without telling what's wrong.
