It seems to have gone quiet on that bug report so I thought I'd try you guys.

This bug really annoys me since my gf's N96 used to work years ago and her
Samsung Galaxy SII does too. I still have nearly a year left on my contract for
my N900 and I spend at least 90 minutes in my car a day, trying to swap from BT
to jack is dangerous whilst driving!

To sum up the bug again: Car connected via bluetooth as a bluetooth headset.
Car stereo connected via jack auxiliary. Music via jack, phone calls via
"headset". When a phone call is received/made the phone says "transferring to
bluetooth headset" but no audio is heard unless the jack is removed from the
phone, then when the call hangs up the music resumes but obviously can't be
heard until the jack is put back in.

What are your expectations that made you file a second bug report, but this
time against CSSU?

Since it's been many many months since the last update on the original bug, I
even added a comment asking if progress was being made and got no reply, I
figured that noone was bothering to do anything. Since Nokia no longer support
this amazing device I really thought that bug was going nowhere. However, the
CSSU have produced some amazing updates, adding functionality that keeps the
device feeling fresh and new. I couldn't find a "suggestions" forum for the
CSSU so I thought I'd file a bug report.

It seems so simple, the phone says "Transferring to headset" but doesn't, I
figured somebody in the "community" must know how to fix it.

I apologise if I've broken some tenet of the internet or simply being a pain in
the backside. I don't programme, I don't use forums that often, I just want my
phone to work the way it's supposed to.

As I posted to the original bug. I compiled module-loopback in the latest
pulseaudio in CSSU-testing. Maybe you can try to use the workarond using the
module-loopback.

I'm affraid nearly nobody understand the sound routing in maemo as part of it
is closed source.
