SOFTWARE VERSION: 
PR 1.3 with latest CSSU

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. add inean's catalog to N900 Faster Application Manager
2. installed new QtComponents
3. installed Miniature
4. start Miniature
5. mentioned a buggy UI

EXPECTED OUTCOME: 
Normal Minature UI with buttons at main menu, available toolbar, playable
chess, possible to chat with other players 

ACTUAL OUTCOME: 
Main menu only shows text, it is clickable and works sometimes, but no toolbar
is shown when it should, also UI seems to be a bit to heigh, cause I can't see
the clock and battery icon. If I join as guest (no account atm) and start a
game I can click on the chessboard, but I can't move my chessfigures. Also
there are no text-edit and send button.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Not sure, on other N900s it seems to work as aspected. :(

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: 
Many many apps, also from devel, testing, extras, QML/Qt related I think CSSU
16.8 is maybe relevant.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that all this has nothing to with the Miniature app. The
symptoms you describe are weird but they smell to a broken installation the
QtComponents port for the N900.

Have you followed the steps described at http://miniature-chess.org/wiki/Maemo

Confirmed! Problems are not Minature related. Also inean's
"qt-components-examples" show the same behaviour. :(
