Description Tom (reporter) 2011-09-13 00:10:13 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION:
(Settings > General > About product)

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. turn on rotation within microb (options > settings > enable rotation)
2. turn on cssu forced rotation
3. open a webpage
4. go to task switcher
5. rotate to portrait mode (if in landscape)
6. select window with open webpage

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
The window, which was in portrait mode in the task switcher, should stay in
portrait mode when selected.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
The window rotates to landscape then immediately back to portrait mode

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
Only shortcutd seems relevant - as this allows you to access the task switcher
from the browser while in portrait mode.

OTHER COMMENTS:
Disabling microb rotation prevents the double-rotation. But its usability is
limited as the bookmark and fullscreen buttons are not visible on the toolbar
in portrait mode.

Closing this as worksforme since it doesn't happen in current cssu, but it's
not possible to pinpoint which change fixed it.

Tom: Reopening without a comment is not helpful. Please elaborate and provide
basic information (e.g. version used).
Comment 3 Tom (reporter) 2012-01-16 00:19:06 UTC
Bug remains exactly as described above using testing version
21,201.38-1maemo1.1

In addition, I have found that if I disable microb rotation and just use the
cssu rotation, after locking and unlocking the screen, microb remains locked in
landscape mode, (other apps are unaffected).
