Description avx.dev (reporter) 2011-02-02 21:41:39 UTC
Since I'm mostly reeding in portrait mode using only one hand, scrolling
through longer texts is somewhat tiring my thumb and I don't want to use the
other hand, so I'd like to request the (optional) feature of using volume
buttons for scrolling up/down.

Sounds good but I was thinking about using those buttons for go next/go back,
as it seems that a common behaviour in other programs and even other platforms
like Android.

Mh, what about this:

a) implement both and let the user decide what (s)he prefers
b) do both, ie short press next/prev and long press scroll up/down

Alternatively, since I haven't heard of any language being read from bottom to
top, yet, the volume buttons could be used for prev/next and/or zoom in/out and
the camera key could scroll(since it's mostly scrolling down anyway, one button
should suffice).
