SOFTWARE VERSION: 
(Settings > General > About product)

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. install CSSU, per wiki instructions, reboot, etc...
2. at the desktop, start entering keystrokes, to search for contacts

EXPECTED OUTCOME: 

entering keystrokes om desktop should cause a contacts search

ACTUAL OUTCOME: 

entering keystrokes on desktop seems to have no effect.

REPRODUCIBILITY: 
(always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10)

Thanks for reporting this. It already seems to have been reported (and is, I
think, fixed in gitorious) and can be tracked under #11813. A workaround,
involving running a single command as root can also be found under that issue,
until an updated package is pushed to the repository.
