EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 

I run into an issue where fmms picks up the wrong contact in viewer.  After
deleting the contact object from contacts (the "wrong" one) the viewer displays
mms messages originating from the correct address.  The mms message is sent via
email (smtp). 

REPRODUCIBILITY: 
always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: 

Mail for Exchange.

Hi,

Can you please elaborate? Did these contacts share any contact information (ie
same phonenumber/emailaddress)?
