Description John Veness (reporter) 2010-10-31 00:34:51 UTC
Currently in the main view menu there are two items that say "Downloads", the
one on the filter and the button that brings up the stacked window that shows
items that are currently being downloaded.

Having two menu items that have identical text is confusing, and I was first
going to suggested that the filter text could be changed to Downloaded, and the
other button to Downloading, but actually I would rather propose the following:

You could remove the Downloads stacked window completely.

When the user starts a new episode downloading, it could immediately be put
into the "All episodes" and individual podcast views, with the progress bar
showing. In other words, mix up the currently downloading eps with the existing
eps.

This is probably going to be WONTFIX for the short term, but I'm keeping it
open as it is still a good idea, but it would require too much effort, and I
don't think I have that much free time to implement this. Still, patches are
gladly accepted :)

WONTFIX for Fremantle. Might be considered for the new QML UI.
