This might be hard to describe without a video, but I'll try:

1, Have a note that is longer than a screen height, so that it is scrollable
2, Scroll to the top of the note
3, Hold your finger on the note and scroll it down and up, so that the top of
the note goes down the screen, revealing the black area above
4, Observe the flickering in the bottom of the white area, above the toolbar,
especially when dragging back up again

The problem doesn't occur at the top of the window when at the bottom of the
note, and doesn't seem to occur anywhere else other than when you're at the top
of the note.

Thanks for reporting that, unfortunately I don't see what I can do about this.
To me this looks more like a platform problem, because I'm simply using the
default text widget.

I'm closing this. If you have reasons to believe that I can do something about
this problem, please reopen.
