Description David Fong (reporter) 2010-10-30 03:56:58 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION: 2.9

EXPECTED OUTCOME: Some Podcasts (such as www.cslpod.com) have included notes.
It would be useful to enable 'copy' (with finger 'click-and-drag' if possible)
of some of the notes, to paste into other applications.

In the case of cslpod.com, they have notes containing the Chinese transcript of
the lesson. It would be great to 'copy' unrecognized characters into a
dictionary application.
Comment 1 Thomas Perl 2010-11-24 23:48:50 UTC
This would probably need copying of the "slide from left" selection mode
behaviour. I don't know it this is readily available as a component, so it
might have to be done manually. Would a menu item "Copy to clipboard" that
copies the whole contents of the shownotes to the clipboard help here?
Comment 2 David Fong (reporter) 2010-12-01 13:04:57 UTC
although not quite as good as copying just a few characters, copying the whole
contents to clipboard will do the job (since I could then paste to leafpad, and
then copy a few characters from there).

thanks for fixing the 'display PDF podcasts'!

Implemented in http://gpodder.org/commit/bd42ad74 as described in comment 2
